 CURRICULUM

Bernardino ROMANO was born in L'Aquila, 1957. Graduated in Civil Engineering from University of L'Aquila in 1983 with a thesis on study methodology for planning of a natural park, applied on area of Gran Sasso d’Italia (Central Apennines, Italy).
Worked as Researcher from 1992 to 2002. From 2002 is Associate Professor in Land Planning.
Has been member of Regione Abruzzo Scientific Committee for Protected Areas from 1999 to 2001.
Is member of National Scientific Committee of WWF Italy.
Is Consultant of the Umbria Region for RERU (Umbria Region Ecological Network), of Veneto Region for LOTO Project (Landscape Opportunity for Territorial Organisation), of Veneto Region for Veneto Ecological Network, of the University of Camerino for REM (Marche Region Ecological Network).
Is member of international group Mountain Protected Areas Network of IUCN.
